In 1670, the choirmaster at the Cologne Cathedral Cathedral gave sugar sticks to his young singer to keep them quiet during the long Living Creche ceremony. In honor of the occasion, he had the candies bent into shepherds' crooks. In 1847, a German-Swedish immigrant named August Imgrad of Wooster, Ohio, decorated a small pine tree with paper ornaments and candy canes. At the beginning of the 1900s red and white stripes and peppermint flavors become the norm for candy canes. Supposedly, the white and red are symbolic to those of the Christian faith.
In 1920s, Bob McCormack began making candy canes as Christmas treats for his children, friends, and local shopkeepers in Albany, Georgia. It was a difficult process-pulling, twisting, cutting and bending the candy by hand. It could only be done for local sales.
In the 1950s, Bob brother-in-law, Gregory Keller, a Catholic priest, invented a machine to automate candy cane production. Packaging innovations y other members of the McCormack family made it possible to transport the delicate canes. This transformed Bobs Candies, Inc into the largest producer of candy canes in the world.
Thanks to the modern technology has made candy canes accessible and plentiful and a Christmas tradition for many.
I love Candy Cane!! ^^

Home
Another semester break
Has come and gone away
In KL and S'bah
But I wanna go home
Mmmmmmmm
May be surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I just wanna go home
I miss you, you know
And I’ve been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you
Each one a line or two
“I’m fine, how are you?”
Well I would send them but I know that it’s just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that
Another aeroplane
Another sunny place
I’m lucky, I know
But I wanna go home
Mmmm, I’ve got to go home
Let me go home
I’m just too far from where you are
I wanna come home
And I feel just like I’m living someone else’s life
It’s like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
And I know just why you could not
Come along with me
Cause this was not your dream
But you always believed in me
I’m coming back home..
Yes..21th Nov..
from there two more days to ur b'day..

Sea-ing

Doulos~
20 million people in over one hundred countries have visited Doulos onboard book fair. There are many acedemic texts and educational litereture which regularly donated to communities in particular need. The crew and staff on board often participate in many practial assistance projects such as providing medical relief, building schools and renovating orphanages in the developing world. All volunteer crew serve on board as a practical expression of their Christian faith. Their lifestyle and personal experiences are testimony of lives transformed by God's love. All these information i got it from the postcard which the crew on board distribute when leaving the ship. My friend told me that Doulos is almost same age with Titanic. Born in 1914. Cool..
After Doulos-ing, we all were damn starving. So, we went to kk eat seafood that recommended by shan shan. That dinner kinda little belated birthday celebration for me. Though it's normal dinner i can feel the joyce among us. ^^
Waiting for next Seafinner~

p/s: 1kg crab crab crab or crab crab crab crab its only RM 13.80..
